Day 111: Today we paddled 62 miles (100 km) all the way to LOUISIANA! We call that a “Canadian Century” in honor of my dear friends Alex & James from @project.paddle ! 🇨🇦
It’s hard for me to really wrap the concept of “Louisiana” around my head. Growing up in Northern Minnesota not far from the Canadian border, Louisiana always seemed like this far away, boot-shaped place where a big big river emptied out into the ocean. It might as well have been another planet.
But now we’re here. And after today, we only have about 500 miles until we follow that same big big river all the way to salt water.
